Promise's healing wisdom as a Therapy Dog began to be embodied at the tender age of not-yet-two as she cared for her elder dog companion, pictured above, before she transitioned. Promise is now a loving companion to animals and their human friends Earthwide who are seeking to be cared for, too.

ABOUT

Promise, an adolescent female Golden Retriever and Therapy Dog, and her human friend Zoe, who became attuned in the Japanese healing art of Reiki to care for Promise as she healed from chronic illness during puppyhood, created a love language of somatic care together inspired by the healing found in their friendship and their life-long companionship with Earth.

With their Earth-inspired practice, Promise and Zoe are planting the seeds the two friends hope will one day sprout as embodied community care for children and young people seeking support during the Climate Crisis while cultivating what it means to lovingly care for Earth.

All who join Friendship Sessions support the Indigenous climate activists of Honor the Earth, as $1 of each session is contributed to the organization's grassroots campaigns for the sustainability of Native communities and global climate justice.
